Sydney (Australia) - Standards Australia's Australian International Design Awards, the most prestigious and diverse design awards program in Australia, will soon be calling for entries in the 2010 Awards. The Call for entries for this Icsid endorsed event will run from 15 September - 1 December 2009.
Marketers, product and brand managers, industrial designers and CEOs looking to increase their exposure to new clients and consumers are encouraged to consider entry in the 2010 program.
Entry is open to all professionally designed products available for sale in Australia or products designed by Australians for overseas markets.
Categories include: Consumer, Business and Technology, Medical and Scientific, Automotive and Transport, Sport and Leisure, Housing and Building, Heavy Machinery, and Architectural and Interior Products.

Standards Australia's Australian International Design Awards recognises the best in industry and student design in Australia and internationally. Professional designers are rewarded through eight industry categories and student designers are recognised through the Australian Design Award – James Dyson Award, in partnership with Dyson Appliances(Australia). Accolades include Australian International Design Award of the Year (Awarded to one product), Australian International Design Awards (for design excellence) and Australian International Design Mark (for good design).
